Continental European publishers and their organisations opt for high e-book prices, with fixed book prices (by national law, like in France) to regulate markets. And yet, readers encounter discounts through international (English language) downloads, but confront territorial, legal hurdles and conflicting cultures. But will readers go for the higher price? Or the better convenience?
