Changing the Way We Work: Incorporating Digital Throughout the Publisher’s Internal Ecosystem
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Liebig
Even if digital sales are growing significantly, many people in publishing groups continue to prioritise printed books, and are “suffering” digital change, rather than embracing it as an exciting opportunity. Digital change affects everybody in a publishing company, whatever his/her activity or decision making authority.
In this session, we will explore changes at different levels within a publisher’s ecosystem, and provide strategies to help publishing houses manage an harmonious coexistence of both digital and print at each level, and evolve from a 100 % printed books oriented practice to a multisupport-oriented one.
